Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Sam (she/they) moved to San Diego over a decade ago with a passion for hair color and a dream of becoming a color specialist. Known for their vibrant color creations and expertise in lived-in balayage, Sam graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2019 and has been honing their craft ever since. With a constant desire to expand her knowledge, Sam stays updated on the latest techniques, trends, and technologies through ongoing education and training, and thrives on creating full color transformations and bringing unique color visions to life. Outside of the salon, Sam enjoys going to concerts, modeling, writing poetry, and spending quiet nights in with her cat, Goose, and a good book.
